Who: Julie T. Katzman, Interim Executive Vice President of the IDB and Multilateral Investment Fund Manager. Ms. Katzman, a U.S. citizen, is currently serving as interim Executive Vice President of the IDB. She continues to fulfill her duties as General Manager of the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), which she began in March 2009. Ms. Katzman has over 15 years of experience in private equity, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions.
José Agustin Aguerre, Haiti Country Team Manager, IDB. The Haiti Country Department was established to co-ordinate the IDB’s response to the Jan. 12, 2010 earthquake. Prior to his appointment to this new post, Mr. Aguerre served as interim manager of the Infrastructure and Environment Sector and chief of its Transport Division. A citizen of Uruguay, Aguerre joined the IDB in 2003 as a transportation and infrastructure specialist, focusing on Central America, the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Steven L. Reed, Inter-American Investment Corporation Deputy General Manager. Mr. Reed is in charge of the finance, legal, portfolio management, operations and technical assistance areas, among other Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) business and support units. He came to the IIC in 1990 from First National Bank of Chicago, where he held several positions both in the United States and in Brazil. He joined First Chicago in 1977, after completing two years as Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Latin American Studies.
Antoni Estevadeordal, Integration and Trade Department Manager, IDB. Mr. Estevadeordal, a Spanish citizen, joined the Bank in 1993 and he is currently the Manager of Integration and Trade. He has expertise in trade policy, economic integration and regional co-operation policies in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and Europe. He has contributed to multiple Bank operations, in particular in the design of new programming instruments and financial products to support trade development and regional integration initiatives.
